I hear this sometimes from coaches.
Well, first of all, I applaud you for investing in yourself. That shows that you really want to make your dreams a reality, not many people have a spine to do that.
As for beginning to be sceptical, watch out for that because that’s a dangerous trap that’ll cause you to give up and end up not reaching your goals or making your dreams a reality.
Usually there are 2 main reasons why you haven’t got results despite having invested in different programs:
𝟏. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐭.
What do I mean by that, well this one is a difficult one because you need to be really self-aware ( of yourself, your behaviour, habits, tendencies) and be totally honest to yourself. To succeed you need to have the characteristics of a successful person. For example, someone who is successful is someone who takes full responsibility, doesn’t blame others, they are disciplined, dedicated, they pay attention to detail, listens attentively, they don’t’ make justifications/excuses, they follow instruction and guidance properly so they can execute correctly. They are focused, they listen with an intent to understand not to reply. They have a right mindset, they don’t believe in delusional things such as putting very little in and expecting big rewards. They don’t expect instant results/glorification. They believe they are going to make it or they’ll figure it out. They push through even if things are going against them at that moment.
Are you that person? Yeah that’s what I thought.
𝟐. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.
The program you invested in does not provide a solution to your problems therefore you won’t get the results. You were sold on it through flashy things, hype & emotions, probably by some well known, a famous coach with a huge following. And you didn’t know enough to understand that fame does not equal skill set. Usually people who are famous aren’t very good because they spend their time on being famous. People who aren’t famous are very good because they spend their time honing their skill. But most common folks mistake fame for a skill.
The program you invested in probably does provide a solution to your problems but it also has some other pieces of the puzzle that are missing. And that causes you to have gaps because you are missing certain key things and that prevents you from getting results.
Or invested in a program that’s missing some appropriate guidance in some areas instead providing you with other guidance that you are not ready for. Probably a guidance that’s way too advanced for you at this current phase you are in. For example you are a beginner coach who is just starting out. Part of the program you invested in contains Facebook ads and funnels as marketing training. That’s advanced marketing that a beginner coach is not ready for without a solid proof of concept and consistent income already being generated from the coaching business. As a result that ‘ll cause you confusion, frustration and a very long learning curve as things are not coming together which leads you not getting results.
So if you have invested in different programs but still haven’t got any results. Ask yourself which of the above reasons you think it’s the reason you haven’t got results.
You’ll have to be honest with yourself to get the answers then solve this issue then make progress.
